Spoils shared after a Chaddy derby thriller

A THRILLING club derby clash ended 2-2 as Chadderton Park under-16s Eagles faced the Cobras team.
The game lived up to everyone's expectations, with both teams giving everything in an exciting, end-to-end encounter.
The Eagles struck first. A free-kick was floated into the area and Lewis Smith produced a cool finish.
However, on the stroke of half-time the Cobras were awarded a debatable penalty when one of the Eagles players was penalised for a high boot.
CONVERTED
Liam Maguire converted the spot kick to level the scores.
In the second half the Eagles regained the lead.
A great team move culminated with Smith calmly slotting the ball home for his second of the game.
Minutes later the Cobras were awarded a second penalty after one of their players went down in the box under pressure.
Once again Maguire stepped up to beat the goalkeeper for his second of the day to make 2-2.
It had been a great game played in the right manner.
Park's under-12s Lions clinched the Championship title when nearest rivals lost their final game of the season.
THRILLER
Park's under-13s Lions lost a seven-goal thriller away at Rossendale Valley Pumas, 4-3.
The Lions squandered a number of clear-cut chances and were punished.
Charlie Sarsfield, Larry Johnson and Lewis North were on target.
Park's under-14s Griffins won 2-1 at home to Wardle Warriors Blues.
Jake Rimmer opened the scoring for the Griffins from close range.
Max Johnson doubled the lead in the second half, before Wardle pulled a goal back.

BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-12s Blues were utterly dominant in their game against Abraham Moss Reds.
The local side eventually triumphed 11-1.
Boundary's under-12s Whites team edged out Failsworth Dynamos Aces 3-2.
