House rule at the Edge

THE Oldham Senior Schools' Boys' Cross-Country championships were staged across a gruelling course at Oldham Edge.
At the end of a tough day, the team from Crompton House emerged as overall victors, with Saddleworth finishing runners-up and Newman third.
Crompton House won three of the four age group races, with Blue Coat taking the other.

Year Seven: 1, Blue Coat; 2, Radclyffe; 3, Hulme. Year Eight: 1, Crompton House; 2, Saddleworth; 3, Oasis. Year Nine: 1, Crompton House; 2, Blue Coat; 3, Hulme. Years 10/11: 1, Crompton House; 2, Saddleworth; 3, Hulme.
Overall: 1, Crompton House; 2, Saddleworth; 3, Newman.
