A GRUELLING third race in this year's Oldham Primary Schools' Cross-Country League campaign took place at Chadderton Hall Park.
The honours were spread around, with St Matthew's winning the Years Three and Four girls' race and Thornham St James' finishing first in the boys' event.
HONOURS
Years Five and Six top honours went the way of St Joseph's (girls) and Hulme (boys).
Hulme, with 279 points, currently lead the overall league standings after three races.
Thornham St James are second on 386 points, with St Joseph's currently third on 762.

Years Three and Four Girls: 1, St Matthew's; 2, Thorp; 3, Thornham St James'. Boys': 1, Thornham St James'; 2, Hulme; 3, St Mary's Greenfield.
Years Five and Six Girls: 1, St Joseph's; 2, Hulme; 3, Thornham St James'. Boys: 1, Hulme; 2, Thornham St James'; 3, Thorp.
