ON PARADE . . . Oldham Netball Club under-14s, who swept aside Didsbury
OLDHAM Netball Club's under-14s swept aside Didsbury 54-13 in a North-West region clash at Parrswood High School.
A blistering start - Franky Southern boasted three turnovers while Alex Martin and Berri Neil were 100-per-cent under the net - saw the local girls race into a 15-0 lead.
Oldham continued to dominate Didsbury with more turnover balls for a 29-1 lead at the midway stage.
The visiting coaches rang the changes - Stacey Tankoua made her debut as goal keeper - but they did not interrupt the flow of points.
At 42-7 in front, Kasmine Narnor, player-of-the-match Southern and Neil returned to their starting positions.
Some brilliant drives and balls into the shooting circle kept up the pressure on a valiant Didsbury side until the final whistle.
