Oldham stick with tradition

ROUHGHYEDS home jersey for season 2016.
PROMOTED Roughyeds will march into the Championship wearing traditional red and white hoops with blue shorts, and red and white socks — historically, Oldham rugby colours for more than a century.
The home kit used in last year’s promotion push has been modified slightly by new manufacturers Errea to offer a more modern look, but is basically still red and white hoops — the fans’ choice.
Away from home, Scott Naylor’s men will again play in pink and grey - but this year the away kit will be hooped to unify the team’s overall look
Chairman Chris Hamilton said: “Red and white hoops were popular with fans last season, so we stay the same, or at least very similar. We got a lot of positive feedback last season about pink and grey for the away kit, so we’ve kept the same colour scheme while opting for hoops.”
