ROUGHYEDS pair Wayne Kerr and Marcus St Hilaire have both been named in the Ireland squad for the forthcoming European Cup.
Working under Wolfhounds coach Andy Kelly, the duo are joined by former team mate Stevie Gibbons, who returned home earlier this season to play once again for the Carlow Crusaders, plus ex-Roughyeds pair Dave Allen and James Coyle, both of whom are likely to be involved in finals day action with Barrow on Sunday.
Wigan's Oldham-born prop forward Eamonn O'Carroll is also in the Irish squad.
The Roughyeds already have a representative in the Wales squad, Phil Joseph.
