IT finished honours at Spotland as visitors Oldham were denied a second victory of the Kingstone Press Championship season after a conceding a late converted try.
Scott Naylor's Roughyeds went in on four occasions through Jordan Walne, George Tyson, Tuogo Egodo and replacement Michael Ward. Scott Leatherbarrow notched five goals.
The Hornets replied with five tries - Ben Moores, Josh Crowley, Jack Holmes, Gavin Bennion and Ryan Maneely - and three goals from ex-Oldham skipper Lewis Palfrey.
