Come Dine With Us @ Romano’s Italia a popular choice!

On Wednesday 27th January we made our first Come Dine visit to Romano’s Italia on Rock St Oldham with a fantastic turn out of sixty-four diners in total, making this one of the most popular evenings to date with our regular and new guests alike.
Our diners were greeted warmly by Ricky and his staff and seated at their allocated tables.
The overall atmosphere was deemed excellent in the feedback given by our guests and the restaurant described as warm and bright.
The food was also given an excellent rating and everyone agreed that value for money exceeded his or her expectations on this occasion.
As meals were pre-ordered before the evening, service ran smoothly with each table being served without fuss.
Food choices by my guests were eagerly received and the Pate and Garlic Mushrooms were a great success as starters.
The Pollo Caruso proved to be the star of the evening at my table with three of the four diners choosing this option, the chicken was moist and flavoursome and the accompanying sauce of white wine, mushrooms, onions, cream and herbs was delicious.
Penne Salmone was also described as one of the best versions ever tasted.
All the food was served piping hot and the portion size was generous.
Our meal was finished off with Chocolate Fudge Cake served with fresh cream/ice cream or just ice cream and a glass of wine.
On the whole the evening was a great success with several diners staying to enjoy the atmosphere.
Sylvia Kershaw commented, “This is the first time we have been and it has been warm and bright” while Natalie Gleeson stated that Romano’s has been great and she would be happy to attend another evening here.
Ricky and his staff worked hard to make our diners feel relaxed and welcome and make it a night to remember!
Our next Come Dine With Us evening will be held at The Printers Arms Denshaw on February 24th at 7.30pm. Please call The Promotions Team on 0161 622 2130 for more information or email us at promotions@oldham-chronicle.co.uk.
