MUSIC EXTRA: THERE’S lots going on in the world of talented Oldham-based singer-songwriter Kieran McMahon at present.
Christmas Eve at Greenfield Conservative Club sees Kieran headline a night of live music starting at 8.30pm.
Tickets, priced £5, are now available from behind the bar at the club, or via Kieran’s Facebook page.
MICK Harwood’s Black Sofa Soul Club has announced the date and venue details for its Christmas Special- Oldham’s Jackson’s Pit on December 27 (9pm-2am).
The usual eclectic mix of soulful grooves will be on offer, ranging from northern, funk, disco, house, and everything in between.
YET another cracking night is in prospect at central Oldham haunt Whittles on Friday.
Widely regarded as one of the most popular Thin Lizzy tribute outfits around — Black Rose — are in town, and entry to the gig is free.
