Jackson’s turns mosh pit for metallers

MUSIC EXTRA: HEAVY metal fans are in for a treat at Jackson’s Pit on December 19.
Three of the most popular outifits in the region will appear on the bill at the popular venue. Wolfbastard hail from Moorside and Saddleworth, while Aggressive Perfector and After the Abduction are from Manchester and Failsworth. The heavy metal night costs £3 on the door
CUPIDS’ eagerly-awaited headline show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on December 19 is close to a sell-out. Tickets are available from links on Cupids’ Facebook page.
Following the emergence of Shadow Palace last week, Dahlia Soul are the most recent outfit to emerge on the Oldham music scene. The band is essentially the three remaining members of the Frakes, who disbanded following the departure of guitarist Ben Warwick.
FRESH from their headline date at the Mahdlo Mic Night recently, acoustic duo Lyceum — Ryan Brogan and Brad Healey — are heading to Salford on December 20, for “Christmas Gig Night” at the King’s Arms on Bloom Street. Tickets through the link on the lads’ Facebook page.
