Carpets roll out nationwide

OLDHAM legends Inspiral Carpets are busy preparing for three back-to-back live dates at the beginning of next month.
On November 4 Steve, Clint, Graham, Craig and Martyn head for the the Venue in Derby, before playing at Sub 89 in Reading 24 hours later.
The Carpets then feature at the eagerly-anticipated Shiiine On Weekender at Butlins in Minehead on November 6 alongside Happy Mondays, the Wonder Stuff, Peter Hook and the Light, Stereo MCs and 808 State.
Almost the whole month of December will be taken up by a nationwide tour alongside fellow Nineties darlings Shed Seven. The tour ends at the Leeds 02 Academy on December 22, but has already sold out the Manchester Academy on December 11. Tickets remain for an extra date, November 12. Visit www.inspiralcarpets.com.
A FEW tickets remain for what promises to be a super night of rock at Dave Flint’s Shure 5 Studios in Royton on Saturday.
The cosy venue will be showcasing sets from Twin Gates, a hard rock outfit from Manchester who will play a mixture of original tunes and cover versions, and Son Primo.
Son Primo are also Manchester-based, and are described as one of a new breed of alternative rock bands who boast a unique sound and vision.
