MUSIC EXTRA @: A CHARITY concert in memory of John Kirkham will take place tomorrow at Austerlands Cricket Club.
John, who died aged 71 in August, was one of Oldham’s most talented and well-known musicians, an accomplished drummer and singer who over a six-decade career played in many rock and roll and jazz groups.
Many musicians from these groups will feature at the charity concert, which starts at 8pm.
Admission will be free, but a collection will be taken for the Royal Oldham Hospital and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
