Sharing tales

BOOKWORMS can share their favourite stories with other readers at the Bookshots event at Limehurst Library tomorrow.
The event takes place from 3.30pm and is suitable for children aged 8-12. For more information email farrah.ashraf@oldham.gov.uk or call 0161-770 8013.
SUPPORT is available to help raise awareness of dementia at Hope Methodist Church on Oldham Road. The drop-in session takes place from 10am on Friday and is free for anyone wanting more information.
THERE will be plenty of Easter activities at the Daisy Nook Garden Centre over theholidays. Green-fingered folk can get creative at a flower arranging session tomorrow from 11am-2.30pm.
On Thursday, there will be a children’s gardening event from 11.30am. On Friday, Sunday and Monday, Merlin the Magician will be back for magic shows throughout the afternoons.
IT’S the end of traditional fairy tales at the Failsworth Baby Book Club next Monday. The theme of the stories chosen now will be ‘books my mummy loved’. The book of the week will be “Dogger” by Shirley Hughes. The group meets from 2pm at Failsworth Children’s Centre in Propps Hall Drive.
Come along in your pyjamas and settle down for bedtime stories at Limehurst Library next Tuesday (April 5) from 6pm. Remember to bring along your teddy or favourite cuddly toy. There will be a light supper for the children after the event.
