No time like now to pick up points

TEN games are left in our season now and we simply have to start picking up wins.

I believe they will come, though. It is about doing what the old cliché says and taking each and every game as it comes. We certainly want to get safe as soon as we possibly can, so there is no time like this weekend to pick up a couple of victories.

Burton will be difficult tomorrow but it is a game we believe we can win, while Chesterfield on Monday is a test against a side close to us in the table.

Aaron Amadi-Holloway scored two great goals against Rochdale and it is fair to say he has been unbelievable for us. He is strong and quick, has a good touch and gets hold of the ball up front.

I am glad he got off the mark with us as that is all that has been missing from his game.

Overall, the game was a real disappointment. We started well and we came into it and felt we could have been a couple of goals up.

The gaffer was really disappointed with the way we gave away the ball before their first goal, when they broke and won the penalty.

At 1-1 at half-time, but with them being down to 10 men we still had a great chance to win the game.

We had that numerical advantage but when they went 3-1 up so soon after the second half had kicked off, it was quite a shock.

Hopefully, we can put it all right – starting at Burton tomorrow.
