Fans supporting special ticket offer

ATHLETIC have had a positive response to their potentially money-saving season ticket offer.

More than 200 supporters bought season tickets for 2016-17 on the first day of a special offer - which will knock £50 off the cost for each win Athletic manage in the remaining home games in March, potentially saving £200 on tickets bought before this weekend’s game and reducing the cost of an entire season’s football to £150.

The hope is that the intriguing offer will also attract supporters who aren’t currently season ticket holders.

“The response has been very positive and to go on sale from 9am yesterday and get 200 sales on the first day is an excellent start,” said Athletic commercial director Mark Moisley.
