Dummigan poised for Latics call
Date published: 31 December 2015
TEENAGE SENSATION . . . Cameron Dummigan has earned plenty of plaudits for his performances at right-back since joining Athletic on loan from Championship side Burnley.
DEFENSIVE changes are in the pipeline as Athletic aim to head into Saturday’s Colchester game working from a more solid base.
Cameron Dummigan is in line to return at right-back, with Brian Wilson taking namesake James’s place in the middle alongside Timothee Dieng.
Richard Eckersley is a major doubt and with Joseph Mills out of favour, Connor Brown may come in at left back.
Manager David Dunn will benefit from a midfield return for experienced campaigner Richie Wellens, who should start. Tomorrow’s game is the last in the loan spell for the trio of Wellens, Dummigan and MK Dons playmaker Giorgio Rasulo.
