ATHLETIC have released their new home and away shirt designs for next season - and it's a return to blue and tangerine.
The all-blue home shirt, which is without a red trim, features the Athletic badge as part of the design, with a different collar.
The tangerine shirt, which is a similar design, replaces last season's white shirt which will now become the third kit for 2017-18.
Sondico remain the official kit supplier, with PFE Express Limited the club's front-of-shirt sponsor.
AVAILABLE
The shirts, which will not be available to buy for fans until July 26, were first spotted yesterday on the SportsDirect.com website be eagle-eyed supporters before the club confirmed the designs.
The adult shirts were shown on sale via the website at a price of £39.99, but can't be delivered until the release date.
Meanwhile, Athletic are set to add to their fire power for next season by sealing a deal for young striker Mason Fawns.
The 18-year-old former Blackburn Rovers striker starred while on trial for Athletic's youth team last season after being let go by the Ewood Park club.
The ex-Failsworth School pupil is a forward with an eye for creating opportunities and is seen as a work in progress by manager John Sheridan, who spoke at the end of last season of a player he believes "has the capability of making the step up."
Fawns will be the fifth player to be confirmed as adding to the squad this summer, after new signing Dan Gardner and re-signings Brian Wilson, Paul Green and George Edmundson. Tope Obadeyi is also expected to sign a contract extension soon.
Athletic's home friendly with Middlesbrough has been cancelled.
New Boro boss Garry Monk has decided to switch around his club's pre-season programme, meaning Athletic will now look for new opponents for the date of Tuesday, July 25.
