Fun for Everyone, now including beginners!
The ukulele is currently one of the most popular musical instruments in the UK and is both fun to play and relatively easy to learn. You can play a few tunes in a very short space of time after just a few lessons.
UKE TOO is an Oldham Music Centre community initiative that has really taken off this year. It's been so successful and so well attended that we are now forming a UKE TOO BEGINNERS GROUP. Playing the ukulele is huge fun for everyone concerned and eventually it is our aim to reach a high enough standard to take part in regular public performances along with our other Music Centre community groups.
Who is it for?
Adults of all ages from 18 right through to senior citizens. No previous experience is necessary - we will cater for absolute beginners and more accomplished players who can already play the Ukulele. You don’t even have to read music. We will provide instruments and expert tuition for all. You can either join UKE TOO straight away or the UKE TOO BEGINNERS GROUP if you are an absolute beginner. The choice is yours.
