Intro

We provide a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for boys and girls between the age of 6 and 25.  Indoor activities include craftwork, games, and the teaching of many skills such as map reading, first aid, communication etc.  We also discover more about the world around us by working on projects such as nature conservation or countries and cultures.  The main outdoor activity is camping, but we also take part in other adventurous activities such as climbing, canoeing, sailing, orienteering, archery and many more.  Older Scouts working on one of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes are able to gain credits for much of the work completed in Scouting.
