CHADDERTON Fire Station, Broadway, is holding a family open day from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday.
Attractions include a bouncy castle, vintage fire engines, raffles and refreshments. Parking is available at Manor Prep School and North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club.
TRYING to persuade your son or daughter to ditch the junk food and learn how to cook healthy meals from scratch? The Crossley Centre, Denton Lane, is holding a can’t cook won’t cook session on Friday, from 1 to 3pm, for 13 to 21 year olds. For more information contact Niela on 0779-1082812 or simply turn up.
DR Kershaw’s Hospice holds its annual duck race and fun day in Chadderton Hall Park, Chadderton Hall Road, from noon to 3pm on Saturday. As well as the races, there will be live music, a bouncy castle, carnival stalls and refreshments.

TAKE part in free Explorer family orienteering sessions in Chadderton Hall Park, from 1 to 3pm on Friday and Wednesday, August 26.
