A CHILDREN’S summer camp runs until August 28 at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane.

THE annual Chadderton garage sale in aid of Cancer Research UK takes place at St Matthew’s Primary School, Chadderton Hall Road. It will be the twelfth year that Iris Last, treasurer of the charity’s Chadderton and Oldham fund-raising committee, has organised the popular event with her husband, Roy.
THERE will be lots of games, crafts, bouncy castles and music in Chadderton Hall Park from 1 to 4pm on Wednesday, August 5 to mark National Play Day.

CHILDREN can tuck into a breakfast followed by activities such as arts and crafts at the Crossley Centre, Denton Lane. The free, summer holiday breakfast club, from 10am to 1pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, is organised by Great Places Housing Association. For information contact Naseem Ahmad on 07851- 311125.
GET you skates on for free family skating sessions in Coalshaw Green Park, from 1 to 3pm on Wednesdays. There are also family football and family active sessions at the same times on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
CHADDERTON Historical Society members are visiting Oldham Parish Church on Thuersday, August 6. Meet at the Victoria street car park at 7.15pm to arrange transport.
