Cat flap burglary

POLICE are warning people in Royton to be vigilant after a burglary in Spring Vale Way in the early hours of Wednesday.
The raider reached through the cat door and took keys left in the lock. They were then used to steal an Audi A6 parked on the driveway.
YOUNG people can keep fit and meet new friends at a summer camp at Oldham Academy North in Royton over the holidays. The camp is open 10am to 3pm to ages eight to 16 and runs until Friday next week. Each day costs £4 and no booking is required.
PLANNING permission has been approved for two non-illuminated signs at PC World, Elk Mill Central Retail Park, Royton.
MEN looking to get in shape can join “Slimmin’ Without Women” every Wednesday at the Bullcote Park community building, Heyside. The classes, open 11am to 1pm, offer dietary advice and gentle exercise routines for men who feel intimidated by traditional weight management groups or the gym. BULLCOTE Lane, Heyside, Royton, will be temporarily closed from Cop Road to Heyside for 17 weeks from August 25 for the construction of a retaining wall and resurfacing.
DR Kershaw’s Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and creative volunteer with beauty/makeup experience who can run “Looking Good Feeling Good” sessions with hospice patients on a monthly basis.
