Summer camp

YOUNG people can keep fit and meet new friends at a summer camp at Oldham Academy North, Royton, until August 21.
The camp is open to ages eight to 16. It costs £4 daily and is open from 10am to 3pm. No booking is required.
LEARN circus skills in Royton during the summer holidays. Designed for young people aged eight to 17, the event takes place every Tuesday at the Scout Hut, Old Edge Road, from 1.30 to 3.30pm. For more details contact Lynda Winrow on 07930-925 233 or email lynda.winrow@oldham.gov.uk.
POLICE are reminding people to take valuables out of their car and keep it secured after a vehicle was broken into on Monday, July 27, in St Phillips Drive, Royton.

GRAB a brew at the St James’ Church coffee morning on Saturday. Open from 10am to noon, there will be refreshments and a bring and buy stall. All are welcome, including children. Entrance £1.
ROYTON and Crompton Over-60s group meets every Thursday at Unit 1, Kingsmill Industrial Estate, off Shaw Road, Royton. Anyone looking for friendship, activities, a cuppa and cake can join in from 1 to 3pm.
