SCORPION, chocolate-covered ants, mealworms, raw potato and cinnamon proved no match for Dean Holden.
Latics assistant manager powered his way through the five courses at a charity fun day at Hollinwood Business Centre.
Dean, who took his wife Danielle and his children to watch him suffer, was up against the business centre manager Walt Urquhart - who also managed to devour the treats during the “bushtucker” trial.
Proceeds from the day were split between Action Oldham Fund and Macmillan.
