Date published: 21 August 2015
HEALTHCARE in Greater Manchester has had a £20,000 investment following a “Dragons’ Den” style event.
The boost, from GTD healthcare’s innovation fund, saw staff across the organisation face a panel of “dragons” to pitch their ideas for patient care.
The non-profit provider of primary care services approved all 13 of the shortlisted applications presented. Projects included patient texting services, basic support for parents, patient testing for earlier treatment and a staff health programme.
