Union J head galaxy of young stars at QE hall
Date published: 11 August 2015
ONE of the UK’s biggest boybands, Union J, is coming to Oldham.
The Queen Elizabeth Hall concert on October 25 will also feature “X Factor” finalists Only the Young and up-and-coming acts Tallia Storm, Jagmac and Henry Gallagher, who appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent”.
Union J — Josh, JJ, Jaymi and George —was formed after auditioning separately for the “X Factor” in 2012 and has since gone on to score four top ten singles and two albums.
In December, the lads achieved their biggest hit to date with “You Got It All” which got to number two. They went on to support The Vamps on their arena tour earlier this year, playing dates across the UK.
Only The Young finally managed to release their latest single “I do” on Friday after stocks of their CDs were delayed in the Calais migrant crisis. Henry Gallagher captured the hearts and the votes of the British public last year by singing his self-penned love song about his mystery crush on “Britain’s Got Talent”.
Scottish singer Tallia Storm was discovered by Elton John at the age of 13 and invited to open his concert in Falkirk.
The final act supporting Union J is Jagmac — four brothers and two sisters from Baltimore.
Union J Live is supported by local radio station Revolution 96.2. Tickets are on sale at www.unionjlive.com
