Car jam relief

HOSPITAL staff will be able to use a brand new 562 space car park from next month - to the delight of residents around the hospital.
The purpose-built car park at Westwood Park, will open on August 17, removing the need for Royal Oldham Hospital employees to park at Latics or on surrounding streets.
Access to the car park will be by a new road off Westwood Way, close to B&Q. There will be barrier entry and number plate recognition and the space will be open round the clock.
Nearby residents claim inconsiderate hospital staff are making their lives a misery with their selfish parking.
One homeowner said: “It is just getting worse. I have tried everything to resolve this situation and I am sick of campaigning now. It is an absolute nightmare.”
