LEWIS BOOTH: Lego at the ready.
A 10-YEAR-0LD Chadderton boy has already landed his dream job - as a master Lego builder!
Legoland Discovery Centre challenged young builders to apply to become a master Lego builder and 12 children aged five to 10 have been recruited after completing a series of challenges. Lewis Booth (10), from Chadderton, was one of the lucky 12.
Each new member also won an annual family pass for four to Trafford’s Legoland Discovery Centre for the year, and will be attending regular creative design sessions with fellow master model maker, Alex Bidolak, also from Chadderton.
Beyond their Lego building skills and techniques, the creative crew will plan events, tell the world about new Lego products and teach others how to make amazing models.
Master builder Alex said: “This has been an awesome competition with lots of great entries. We can’t wait for them to get building.”
Their first task will be to create a Lego version of Manchester’s tallest building, the Beetham (Hilton) Tower
