A MOSSLEY building company is set to feature in a new series of BBC’s “Homes Under the Hammer”.
Surebuild Construction, based on Manchester Road, is currently refurbishing a house on Waterton Avenue, Mossley.
When the company bought the property at an auction at Manchester City’s Etihad stadium recently, producers of the popular BBC show approached them.
They will follow the progress of the company as they look to spruce up the house and sell it on in a few months time.
Surebuild Construction happily agreed to feature on the show.
Surebuild’s directors Jamie Wolfenden and Jason Reece spent the day with the new presenter and former Premier League striker Dion Dublin.
Jason said: “We were approached by producers at the auction and thought it would be a great experience.
“Filming for a TV show was an entirely different challenge for us as a team but it’s a great experience.
“It’s not quite as straight forward as it looks on TV, there’s an awful lot that goes into filming but it’s great to be involved.”
Work is estimated to take 12 weeks and once complete the film crew will be coming back to film the finished results and conduct the final interview with Jason and Jamie.
The air date of the episode is yet to be announced.
