Crash driver fights for his life

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorist was left with life-threatening head injuries after a collision in Denshaw.
In the early hours of Monday morning a 24-year-old man in a white BMW was driving in Ripponden Road when he lost control on a left-hand bend and hit safety barriers and a stone wall before the car flipped oin to its roof.
Emergency services arrived to help local householders, cut the unconcious man out of the car and rushed him to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
