McMahon retains Council leader role

COUNCIL leader Jim McMahon: Retained his seat

OLDHAM Council leader Jim McMahon has retained his seat in Failsworth East with a 1,453 majority over his nearest rival, UKIP’s Graham Whitehead.

Councillor McMahon polled 2,571 votes as the counting began in the local elections.
