SEALED off . . . the area outside the pub
POLICE were called to a pub in Royton after rumours a gun had been fired.
Police were called to the Duke of Edinburgh on Market Place on Thursday following reports men had entered with a gun and that it had been fired. Police have not been able to confirm the report.
Inspector Trevor Harrison, said: “If anyone has any information that can help our enquiries I would urge them to contact us in confidence.”

*POLICE have since established no firearm was involved.
