Dawn raids: 11 face crown court

ELEVEN people charged with supplying class A drugs in Oldham will appear at Manchester Crown Court later this month.
They were arrested in dawn raids in connection with the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
The defendants were at Oldham Magistrates court on Friday but did not enter pleas.
Police executed warrants at 15 Oldham addresses on Thursday morning as part of Operation Plumbline -months of investigation by Oldham Organised Crime Team and the Serious Crimes Division. Police seized heroin and crack cocaine with a street value of £5,000.
Adnan Arshad (23), of Keble Avenue; Mohammed Shahzad Butt (24), of Chamber Road; Hamza Illahi (28), of Burlington Avenue; Aden Simpson (22), of Warcock Road, Peter Arthurs (49), of Finchcroft, Daniel Whelan (23), of Kingston Avenue and Liam Scullion (24), of Scotland Hall Road, Newton Heath, have been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine. Kenny (41) and Ann Marie Grima (46), of Oakenclough, were charged with being concerned with the supply of heroin and crack cocaine
Emmanuel Richards (35), of Union Street West Oldham was charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply. Kriss Scott (25), of Coppersmith Drive, Miles Platting, was charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply.
They will appear at Minshull Street for a plea and case management hearing on May 22.
All were remanded in custody apart from Mohammed Butt who was bailed.
