Judging of the annual Saddleworth in Bloom competition will take place on August 5. The five categories — large, medium, small, container and community — will be judged by a panel which includes the chairman of Saddleworth Parish Council.

SALEM Moravian Church, Lees Road, is holding a coffee morning and book sale tomorrow from 10am-12.30pm.
RSF Off-Road Cycling Club meets on Tuesday, July 14, for a guided ride around Saddleworth. Meet at Lime Kiln Cafe, Brownhill Visitors’ Centre, Uppermill, for a 10.30am start — and 4pm finish.
