Staff at Coppice Care Home - our latest Prode in Oldham nominees
COPPICE care home has been nominated for a Pride in Oldham award for going above and beyond to provide the best possible care.
The home was nominated by Janet Ross for its “meticulous” care of her mother, who suffers with dementia. The Windsor Road home has been open for over 20 years and Janet has been delighted by the way that staff have looked after her mum.
“She’s been there for two and a half years now and they’ve been excellent, the best care home there is. They are always really good with the residents and they give 100 per cent, all the time.
“They give care to people with so many different illnesses and they are all brilliant. Nothing is too much for them.”
Deputy manager Sylvia Saldanha, who has worked at the home for five years, said they were delighted with the nomination: “It’s really nice to be put forward, we are all very proud Janet has done this.
“It’s a rewarding job to do and we don’t do it for the recognition but it’s always nice to see that the work you do is appreciated.”
