FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY exited the FA Cup at the preliminary round stage after losing 3-1 at Evo-Stik League rivals Bamber Bridge last night.
Darren Green put the hosts ahead in the eighth minute of the replay — the first meeting on Saturday ended 1-1 — but the Lilywhites were level after 24 minutes thanks to Kyle McGonigle’s effort.
However, two second-half goals in quick succession from Stuart Vasey (58) and Alistair Waddecar (60) sealed the visitors’ fate.
