RUGBY:
A FUN coaching programme to produce the next generation of players at Hollinwood ARLFC has made a promising start.
The sessions at Fields New Road have been switched from Saturday mornings to Thursday evenings (6-7pm), and secretary Fred Halliwell has been pleased with the response.
Halliwell said: “The children have done well. We’ve had them tackling, passing and linking up play — some of the basics of rugby league.
“This is only the start, though. Hopefully word will get round and we can build something that will stand us in good stead for the future.”
The sessions are free Details from Fred on 07786 468833.
