DARREN Kelly on the sense of a missed opportunity in drawing at Bury:
“We did a bit of work this week on creating chances and we created some fantastic ones. On any other day, they would have been in the back of the net.
“There was good productivity in the final third. We just didn't put them away. Lee Croft took his goal well and he could have had another five minutes later, only for miscommunication with David Dunn.
“We did work this week on those areas and luckily, one came off. We could have had more goals, but it wasn't to be.”
On his side's chances that went to waste:
“We had three or four very good chances. Mike Jones, Simonas Stankevicius, Croft, Jonathan Forte . . . There were some great chances there. If there was one player you would want on the end of the (Jones) chance, it is him with the quality that he has.
“But you can't be too critical. Players don't deliberately miss chances and we did at least create those.
“That is a good sign in the final third, where we haven't been too productive in recent weeks. Here, we were. Hopefully, we can build on that and take it forward.
