Drama as car fire spreads to house

THE cause of a car fire which spread to a house in Shaw is under investigation.
Firefighters tackled the blaze in Greenway, at 1.40am today, when flames from the vehicle in a car port spread to the adjacent house, causing damage to the property and its doors and windows. A neighbouring house was also damaged.
A woman managed to get out of the property after being alerted by a neighbour. No-one was injured.
