Cheaper bus travel for students

STUDENTS will be able to take advantage of First’s new discounted bus tickets from September.

First is welcoming university students to the new term with lower ticket prices to encourage more of them to use buses. An all-term ticket has fallen in price from £249 to £205.

The ticket will be valid on all First buses, including the operator’s cross-city network.

The reduced price is also available to students at Oldham College, Bolton College, Bury College, Rochdale College and colleges in Salford.
