POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for information after a pregnant woman was attacked at a Chadderton ATM.
The 21 year old had been on a night out at Smooth Bar in nearby Peel Street when she ran out of cash between 2 and 2.40am on Sunday.
She was followed to a cashpoint at Asda on Milne Street by two Asian men, who demanded her bag.
When she refused, they kicked her and fled towards Victoria Street.
At hospital, nurses told her she was in the early stages of pregnancy.
Her partner aid: “This was a vile attack and if anyone knows anything about it they should come forward. It was a sickening attack by two men on a single woman.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
