They are an 18-bedroom, four-star AA and VisitEngland-accredited Inn with a brasserie and restaurant, which provides fine food, quality beers, wines & spirits and an excellent standard of accommodation.

The local head chef brings originality and flair to his menus and has been awarded a coveted AA Rosette for his ‘Signature Menu’.

Leek and potato broth with chicken and tarragon dumplings and freshly
baked bread

Goosnargh chicken liver, oyster mushroom and rosemary pate with spiced pear chutney and toasted brioche

Slow roast Anna’s happy trotters pulled pork shoulder with wilted greens, caramelised apple root vegetable dauphinoise and a burgundy sauce

Citrus infused confit seatrout fillet with a fennel hash brown, kale and a tartar butter sauce

Vegetarian Main Course
Spinach and nutmeg potato gnocchi with woodland mushrooms, a garden pea veloute and crispy onions

Banana and vanilla bavarois with coconut custard and a pecan nut brittle

Milk chocolate and beetroot brownie with salted caramel ice cream.
