Join the RSPB on a three-mile guided walk around Dovestone Reservoir on Sunday, April 15, and learn how to use binoculars and recognise some of the birds you may see around the countryside and in your garden.
Please bring binoculars if you have them (some will be available to borrow on the day if not), and also any snacks and drink you may want.
Warm, waterproof clothing and suitable outdoor footwear should be worn as some paths may be muddy and uneven.
No dogs are allowed on this walk.
Walkers are asked to meet at the top of the main Dovestone car park.
Parking is free for RSPB members with their membership card displayed in the windscreen.
The cost for the walk (scheduled to take place between 10.30am-1pm) is £5 per person (£4 for RSPB members)
All events are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice, but booking is essential.
Please call 07921 069924 or email: Miriam.biran@rspb.org.uk
Dovestone Reservoir is owned by United Utilities and the water company works in partnership with the RSPB, who manage the estate.
The partnership aims to encourage public access and recreation, while protecting water quality and wildlife for future generations.
