Talented young boxer Dacre Bilton is sure to enjoy a happy 11th birthday tomorrow (Wednesday) as he continues to celebrate his recent triple world title glory.
Dacre, from Chadderton, produced his fighting heroics at the WKO (World Kickboxing Organisation) Open World Championships tournament in Barnsley.
He competed in six categories overall, and came away with world title first place finishes in three of them.
They were the light contact kick-boxing 9-10 years 24.0-27.9kg ring, light continous 9-11 years 25.1-30.0 kg and box light 9-11years 25.1-30.0kg catergories.
He also placed second in both points and ultimate points fighting for the under 30 kg 9-11 title, and won a bronze in the sport boxing 9-10 years 24.0-27.9 kg category.
So in all, Dacre was entered into six categories and secured six medal places on the podium - a great achievement for him all round.
Dacre trains kick-boxing in Middleton and Altrincham for British Military Martial Arts and he trains for the Warriors Boxing Academy on Victoria Street in Chadderton.
