Hack Oldham is a social enterprise organisation offering a huge range of facilities for everybody over the age of 16 in and around Oldham.

Situated in Yorkshire Street in the centre of Oldham, Hack occupy a premises and over the three floors they offer a variety of activities to members and non-members.

However, as with all social enterprises, Hack depends to a very large degree of donations to supplement income and allow it to continue and to expand the services they provide.

An approach to the Saddleworth Rotary proved beneficial for Hack when generous Rotary Club members agreed to help out with a donation of £1,000 towards current activities.

In a visit to Hack to present them with a cheque for the amount, Saddleworth Rotary members, President Jon Stocker, Clint Elliott and John Ainley, were impressed by the range of activities, supporting equipment and expertise on offer to those attending and engaging with Hack.

The range of activities from crafting, pottery, wood, metal and glass work, acting and filming are just some of the specialist areas that Hack offer.

In addition, they have meeting and workspace on offer for hire as well as offering opportunities for individuals to engage with others informally.
