School choir puts smiles on faces at old people's homes

Elderley residents have been given a festive cheer at old people's homes in Oldham.
Year 4 and year 5 pupils from Yew Tree Community School in Chadderton have been visiting to sing carols.
They visited Dryclough Manor in Royton and Ashgrove Lodge in Chadderton on Monday 2 December.
All of the pupils were part of Yew Tree Community School's choir.
They sang a range of Christmas songs, plus some of the kids' most-loved hits.
It put smiles on all of the faces of the residents, with many joining in with the well-known carols.
