Oldham Chronicle back in print

Your Oldham Chronicle will be printed again in January
Your Oldham Evening Chronicle will roll off the presses again in a special one-off edition in January.
Our current owners, Credible Media, relaunched "The Chron" as a breaking news site in 2018, where over a million pages are viewed every quarter.
The January edition will be a news review of 2019, including some of the most read stories of the year.
Although there have been special "exam results" issues, it will be the first time the newspaper has been printed since August 2017.
Matt Ramsbottom of Credible Media said: “We’re incredibly excited to see the Oldham Evening Chronicle back on newsagents’ shelves once again. The Chronicle has been part of the Oldham community since 1854, and it’s still trusted by thousands of readers across the borough.
“The printed issue will be an official printed record of the major events in the town from the last twelve months from the trusted journalists at “The Chron”.
“We’ve made a huge effort to retain staff members, and keep the newsroom based in the town. We hope readers will enjoy flicking through the pages of the Chronicle again.”
The printed Chronicle will be available - without charge - from January 15th in newsagents and supermarkets.
