Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Blackley

A man has been charged after a man was stabbed in Blackley.
29-year old Liam Burke of Broadway, New Moston, has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square on Friday 7th June 2019.
The charge relates to an incident on Southdown Crescent shortly after 11.40am on Sunday 5th May 2019, in which a 31-year-old man was stabbed.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
