NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY manager Shaun Higgins has hit out at his side for showing an “unacceptable attitude” and vowed to ring the changes in tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North clash with Cammell Laird.
Youth team players Joe Heap and Fabio Abreu are included in the squad, with several senior regulars sweating over the safety of their places.
It follows the Lilywhites’ shock 2-0 home loss to lowly Leigh Genesis in midweek.
Higgins said: “The defeat was largely down to the unacceptable attitude shown by our players.
“It was a shocking performance, we were at home and just did not play at all.”
CHADDERTON are without the services of Andrew Pheby for the visit of Runcorn Town tomorrow in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Paul Buckley’s promotion hopefuls look to continue their good run of form but must do so in the absence of Pheby, who suffered a groin injury during the 1-0 win over neighbours Oldham Boro in midweek.
John Rogers remains sidelined by a leg injury he sustained against Ashton Town, while Lewis Maynard (metatarsal) is a long-term absentee.
OLDHAM Boro go to Atherton Collieries in the NWCL.
Manager Tony Mills expects striker Paul Brown to return to the squad, after missing the last two games due to work commitments.
Mills said: “We hope to have Paul back this weekend, and if so he will go straight into the side. He is an important player for us.”
