CONNOR Williams has handed Oldham an injury blow ahead of the crunch clash with Bradford Bulls.

The on-loan Salford full-back or centre picked up a shoulder injury in training this week and while the severity of the problem is not yet clear, the teenager is a doubt for the big match at Bower Fold.

Liam Thompson continues to have treatment on his sternum problem and could feature, while minor injuries to Adam Clay and Dave Hewitt should not prevent them from taking to the field for coach Scott Naylor.

CROWD

Oldham are hoping for a crowd emulating the season-high 1,691 attending the corresponding fixture earlier this season, as the club bid to end a barren run with a victory that may help them out of the bottom-two by Sunday evening.

"The support we have had this season, both home and away, has been a real positive," said club chairman Chris Hamilton.

"Home support right now is vital. We want as many possible to come down to support the lads, just as they did the last time we played a full-time team.

"We saw off Toulouse that day and showed that when we put in a performance full of enthusiasm and commitment, we are a match for anyone."

In terms of dual registration players, Daniel Smith played and scored for Huddersfield Giants against Wakefield last week and is no longer available to Oldham.
